As a non-profit organization, Top RJ's has many opportunities for volunteer involvement. Many hands make light work and your contribution would be greatly appreciated!

Looking to build your resume in the non-profit world through administrative or interpersonal skills? Or are you excited for the opportunity to work with animals? We have many ways to help and would love to have you on our team! If working to build a resume, we would be happy to provide a letter and our reference for all of your work, when/if you decide to continue on. Volunteering is an amazing way to do good for the community while also building upon your own skills!

Fosters 

Some of our most important volunteers are those that take the plunge and welcome one of our animals into their homes. These volunteers are essential to shaping the future for the disadvantaged animal that they offer to help and are crucial in their journey to a forever home, as able. If interested in being a foster, head over to our FOSTER section and fill out an application today!

Home Visit Team and Coordinator

Our application process for adopting animals is thorough and we do everything to ensure that animals are placed in the proper homes. Considering joining us in this endeavor and assist us in conducting home visits for approved adoption applicants!

Transportation Volunteers and Transportation Coordinator

Having many dogs in foster care means many trips in different directions. Even if can't commit to specific days, consider joining us as a volunteer and being on an "on-call" roster to help transport dogs to/from veterinary appointments and fosters.

Kennel cleaning

Our kennel space is small, consisting of no-more than 9 kennels. If you have a few hours once a week and are interested in getting experience working with the organization and with animals, consider volunteering with us

General Admin and Fundraising

As we are still a fledgling organization, those difficulties compounded by working in a rural community, funds for care and supplies are routinely lacking and inconsistent. If you have experience in fundraising, or even if you don't but want to start somewhere, we would to have your help and ideas! Consider taking the lead on a fundraising project or two, or consider helping us with grants or managing fosters. Opportunities are near endless!
